Remington Woods is in the village of Channahon and is served by the Channahon police and fire Departments and the Three Rivers Public Library District.
The Channahon Park District has an 18-hole golf course, and a $2 million aquatic center on approximately four acres in Central Park. It features a six-lane, 25-yard pool connected to a zero-depth edge pool, a spray/play area for small children, sand volleyball court, concession area, and grass sunning areas.
