SA:Man charged over SA house fire
ADELAIDE, Dec 19 AAP - A 66-year-old man has suffered superficial burns after allegedly
trying to burn down his own house near Port Broughton on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula.
Police said the man was charged with arson and acts to endanger life in relation to
the fire at Fisherman's Bay on Sunday night.
No one was inside the home at the time of the blaze with damage to the property estimated
at $60,000.
The man was arrested on Sunday night at nearby Port Wakefield.
He was expected to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court later on Monday.
